Since the Accreditation Exam is offered on a variable schedule in each part of the state ( Charleston , Columbia and Greenville ), candidates should contact their SCPRSA Accreditation Committee member for details about dates. Listed below is a general schedule for exam.

 

•  Submit your APR application to PRSA headquarters

•  Sign up for the Yahoo! Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/aprstudygroup

•  Contact your Accreditation Committee member to alert him or her about your plans to take the exam

•  Schedule the Readiness Review

•  Begin working on your portfolio for the Readiness Review

•  Complete the Candidate's Written Submission Form and submit it to your Accreditation       

     Committee member at least 15 business days prior to the Readiness Review date

•  Participate in Readiness Review preparation session(s)

•  Sit for the Readiness Review

•  Receive notice from PRSA headquarters about your pass/fail status

    If you fail, contact your Accreditation Committee member to discuss your options to

            retake the Readiness Review.

    If you pass, schedule your written exam date at the Prometric Testing Center in your 

            city. Also, contact your Accreditation Committee member regarding local study sessions.

 

•  Participate in study course

•  Sit for the written exam
